Interchange is an important part of the high-grade road network running, high-graderoad network capacity and quality of traffic plays a key role. Ramp structures for turningvehicles is an important part of the interchange, which is the most basic unit of theinterchange.Considering the selection of programs and design of an interchange is mainly theselection of layout and design of interchange ramp. The design of ramp decisions differenttypes of interchange.It is because of the mix of the ramp before the formation of differentstyles Interchange world. Therefore, the design of the ramp also attracts widespread attentionwhich has increasingly become an important research topic.Closely related to Interchange ramp horizontal alignment with the driving characteristicsof the car on the ramp, this article first examine the driving characteristics of the car on theramp, is based on the driving requirements to determine the consistency of the planealignment of the ramp and the ramp Horizontal Alignmentthe running track of the car, toensure traffic appropriate patency and safety requirements.On the basis of the existing interchange information, combined with field observationsand survey data, the author proposes selection method of the number of ramp lanes toprovide a scientific basis for the determination of the number of ramp lanes. based on themulti-factors,such as the ramp design services level, the ramp design speed, ramp sectioncapacity, the ramp connecting portions capacity, demand for overtaking and lane continuousbalancing requirements.By a detailed analysis of each component part of the width of the ramp cross-section,especially the carriageway and the right side of the hard shoulder width, combined with thecurrent situation and future trends of road traffic composition, the author sets ramptransectionthe various parts of the surface of a reasonable width to meet different designrequirements, and put forward a comprehensive method for determining ramp cross-sectionalwidth.By VISSIM simulation and verification with engineering examples, the number of ramplanes and cross-sectional method is more scientific and reasonable, as well as providing areference for the preparation of Specifications for Design of Highway Grade-separatedIntersections and revision of the specification provisions.
