Air-flow and Heat-transfer of complex passenger compartment is a very important anddifficult research in automobile air conditioning field. Arrangement of air inlet and Air-flowModes of automobile air conditioning effect the distribution of velocity and temperature.Automobile air conditioning can control the thermal environment of passenger compartmentto make the distribution of velocity and temperature rational and improve ridingcomfortability of passengers. Numerical simulation was generally used to research Air-flowand Temperature Field of automobile air conditioning.First, the article have introduced the Numerical Analysis and Experiment of Air-flow andTemperature Field in a Passenger Compartment research status in home and abroad, airconditioning, riding comfortability of passengers and Numerical simulation. Then, it adoptedCATIA to establish physics models of Passenger Compartment, adopted GAMBIT to meshthe physics models, adopt FLUENT to Numerical simulatite in multiple operation modes. Itanalysis the distribution of velocity and temperature under different inlet condition of velocity,temperature, angel and outlet condition of pressure.Meanwhile, it analysis the velocity andtemperature of special measuring point when the inlet condition was optimized. The velocityand temperature experiment evaluated the correctness of Passenger Compartment model. Itanalysis the homogenuousness of distribution of velocity and temperature and optimized theproperties of automobile air conditioning.Study result of Numerical Analysis and Experiment of Air-flow and Temperature Fieldin a Passenger Compartment declarated that the Air-flow velocity and the amount of heat flowincreased when the inlet velocity improved, the temperature increased when the inlettemperature improved, but inlet temperature has tiny effect on velocity distribution.Throughchanging the inlet angle can improved the rationality of distribution of velocity andtemperature. Most of passenger feel good Under the optimization air inlet condition. Velocityand temperature difference can reduced by designed a air inlet on the back of PassengerCompartment. Improving the structure of Passenger Compartment also improved thehomogenuousness of distribution of velocity and temperature.
