Mixed model assembly line sequencing is one of the key issues of mixed modeproduction method, sequences with a good performance can effectively shorten delivery time,reduce in-process inventory, improve production efficiency of assembly line. In the actualproduction process, however, often due to the material unkitting led to the initial sequencecan not be executed, therefore the normal production of the assembly line was seriouslyaffected. Mixed model assembly line resequencing caused by materials unkitting was studiedin this paper.Multi-objective mixed model assembly line initial sequencing mathematics model withminimizing total overloading/idle costs, minimizing production variation rate and minimizingtotal set-up time was established of instance enterprise assembly sequencing problem in thispaper. An improved multi-objective Cat Swarm Optimization(CSO) designed to solve themathematics model. The standard cat swarm optimization discretization to accommodate thescheduling problem. The improved searching mode based on diversified searching operatorswas proposed to improve the performance of the distribution of search efficiency. Catbehavior mode selection method based on linear mixed ratio was used to adjust the ratio ofglobal Cats and local Cats in the evolutionary process. In the earlier stage, a larger proportionof the global searching cats was taken in order to exploitation the scope of the algorithm; inthe later stage, a large proportion of the local searching Cats was taken to accelerateconvergence. Algorithm compared with other famous algorithms mentioned on referencequestions test, the results show that proposed algorithm are excellent in search capabilities onthe distribution of the Pareto set, convergence and Pareto searching ability in NSGA-Ⅱ,MOPSO and SPEA2.Based on material unkitting random and sudden happened commonly in the praticalworkshop, and therefore initial sequencing is not an option to perform. Sets shop schedulingprograms to deal with unkitting materials, Mixed model assembly line resequencing modelestablished to response of materials unkitting disturbance with minimizing utility workerswork time, keeping a constant rate of part usage and minimizing sequencing deviation.Bi-cycle joint optimization strategy and the decomposition method based on productioncapacity of the assembly used for Mixed model assembly line resequencing.The improve multi-objective Cat Swarm optimization is applied to an assembly line, of and instance corporate. Compared to workshop heuristic, results showed that the proposedresequencing method is better.Finally, the full paper was summarized, and mixed model assembly line resequencingproblem and multi-objective Cat Swarm Optimization was prospected.
