The rolling bearing vibration is a reflection of rolling bearings comprehensive quality,which directly affects the performance of the rolling bearings. Currently existing rollingbearing vibration detector can only measure the vibration velocity. Its function is simpleand its level of automation is low. Bearing manufacturing enterprises need a rollingbearing quality detection system to automatically detect bearing vibration, automaticallydetermine the quality level of bearing vibration and to find the source of the bearingvibration. Bearing vibration signal processing system is the key of bearing qualitydetection system.This paper discusses in detail the mechanism of the bearing vibration, signalacquisition and processing principles, time-domain statistical techniques, resonancedemodulation method, and applicates these techniques to analyse the bearing vibrationsignal. According the characteristics of the defect bearing vibration signal, the paperintroduces the slip kurtosis algorithm to determine the bearing defect of grease. Throughthe resonance demodulation technique practical application, it can effectively extract thecharacteristic signal of rolling bearing surface defects. This characteristic signal can beused to determining the defective parts of bearing. On this basis, design andimplementation of a PC-based bearing vibration signal acquisition and analysis system isdesigned and implemented. According to the characteristics of bearing vibration signaland signal processing speed requirements, selected the various components of the signalacquisition system. According to the signal processing algorithms, programed the signalprocessing software.By experiment, the system can diagnose the grease defect of the defect rollingbearing and the system can extract the characteristic signal of rolling bearing surfacedefects.
