In recent years, with the deepen development of China’s energy conservation policy, more and more attention are paid to the efficient operation of the energy consumption, especially for the industrial boilers. In China, there is a great proportion of chain gratefurnace in the industrial furnace. In a long period of time, the chain grate furnace is in alow operating efficiency and large pollution emissions status. Through decades ofresearch and development as well as a large number of practical cases, the compoundcombustion of the chain furnace technology can greatly improve the operating efficiencyof the chain furnace. We use the numerical simulation method to analysis the furnace combustion and theheat transfer process between chain grate furnace and the compound combustion of chaingrate furnace. Which the latter can greatly improve the temperature in chain furnace, andreduce the concentration of combustible gas out of the furnace. And we will reduce theconcentration of combustible gases out of the furnace, under the direct flow burner. Whenwe add the air-powder feeding speed properly or it may burn out of the furnace. Then we compare the temperature inside the furnace and the concentration ofcombustible gas out of the furnace, under different structure and different position ofburners, and different air-powder feeding speed. We can not only greatly reduce the concentration of combustible gas out of thefurnace with stationary combustion chamber burners. But also can effectively improvethe disturbance added with the furnace with bluff body structure, swirl structure or slottedbluff body structure. So the temperature distribution inside the furnace will be moreuniform.Through the simulation process, it provides a solution of compound combustion forthe chain grate furnace which can improve the combustion efficiency with differentburner structure and different burner position in different air-powder feeding speed. Toprovide an method for the further analysis.
