The Research Of Design Methods Of Flexible Interface In Urban Iverside Space

As city’s special environmental lot and dynamic public open space, riverfront spacealways provides precious water-friendly environment and public green area. And it alwaysplays an important part in shaping distinctive urban landscape. However, with the progressof rapid urbanization and the blind optimism of human’s ability to transforming nature,city was developed and constructed at the expense of environment, including rivers.Riverfront landscape and environment was influenced by the negative factors of both thetraditional water conservancy and unreasonable development and construction, and waspresented as a completely closed, incondite image by expansive hard area which passed onnegative emotions of alienation and fear. Under this practical background, the authorcombined the thinking of some riparian landscape planning projects involved andresearched the design methods of creating flexible riverfront landscape.In fact, in the process of landscape design, planners sometimes create flexiblelandscapes intentionally or unintentionally, and by seizing this point, the article tried tomake the tendency to build flexible landscape design clear from a new perspective, andcombined systematic analysis and classification of present situation of riverfrontlandscape, in order to create riverfront landscape which is of friendly feelings and in linewith the public generally aesthetic value.In this paper, riverfront space and flexible interface concept had been raised defined,and under the theoretical background of traditional philosophy, aesthetic psychology,environmental psychology and landscape ecology, the author elaborated the tendency offlexible aesthetic and the rationality and necessity of the interface study from the aspectsof rigid and soft of riverfront space interface. And through the typology classified ideology,the author carried on systematic and in-depth research of the flexible interface ofriverfront space from five aspects of flexibility shaping aesthetic rules, the soften of entityconfiguration elements, the uses of flexible landscape elements, the dissolution of rigid interface objects, the creation of flexible landscape in specific site atmosphere in mediumand micro perspective. And this paper also includes analysis of a great quantity ofinstances which leads to the conclusion of flexible design methods, aiming at providing anew way of thinking for the landscape design practice.
