At present, traffic follow problem has become an important issue, which draws at-tention from the international community. In recent years, from a diferent perspective,many scholars have been conducting stability analysis for the characteristic of trafficflow. and obtaining an enormous amount of research results. The stability analysis isone of the important problems in the traffic flow theory, where the congestion phenom-ena can be regarded as the instability and the phase transition of a dynamical system.We introduce lyapunov stability analysis method to car-following model. Based on thecoupled map car-following model stability analysis and feedback control research, weintroduce the delay feedback control method into single and double lane car-followingmodels, which is proposed by Konishi etc. Finally, we obtain the stability conditionsof traffic flow, and give the corresponding numerical simulations.
