With the continuous development of large span cable-stayed bridge, thecable-girder anchorage structure of the bridge was put forward a higher requirements.The cable-girder anchorage structure suffered the centralized force, and had thecomplex structure, was the key parts of the control design, in addition to consider thestatic bearing properties of the anchoring structure, due to the various componentconnected of welded, under the alternating loads, the component is very prone to fatiguefailures, therefore also need to assess their fatigue properties.Currently, the fatigue strength analysis of steel structure engineering mainly usingthe hot spot stress method, the method has been applied in marine structures,shipbuilding industry, machinery manufacturing and other fields, the hot spot stressmethod is widely used, especially in the field of ship structures, each classificationsocieties are a lot of theoretical and experimental study of the method, and inaccordance with the long-term practical experience and research to develop appropriatespecifications, pursuant to design the fatigue strength of the structure of the ship.The hope that with the successful experience of the ship, the S-N curve applied tothe analysis of fatigue strength of the anchor plate structure of Xia-Zhang Bridge,combined with the finite element analysis, used the hot spot stress method to estimatethe fatigue life of the anchor plate structure.Firstly, establish the solid element and shell element model of the anchor platestructure, static analysis of the anchor plate structure in order to select the appropriatefinite element, and then analysis of the stiffness and strength of the Xia-Zhang Bridgeanchor plate structure, and in determining the fatigue test load, using the interpolationmethod to determine the fatigue stress amplitude, and then select the appropriate S-Ncurve, respective assessed the fatigue life of the maximum tensile stress of the weld andnon-weld.Finally, take the anchor plate structure fatigue testing of the full scale model, theabove analysis results coincide with the experiment results acquired by Full-scale modeltest, which shows that the building model is effective and the hot spot stress method isan effective method for the analysis of the fatigue strength of Bridge’s steel structure.
