This paper mainly used space syntax theory and analysis methodssuch a new paradigm of urban studies to analyze the evolution of urban form inZhengzhou, to summarize its evolution and characteristics: Zhengzhou urban form isself-organization and other organizations in the dual role under continuousdevelopment, and the role of self-organization dominated; urban form from the initialdevelopment of concentric squares mesh extended mode. Zhengzhou urban form andanalyze problems and make recommendations accordingly, the main problems are:single-core expansion serious problem; Old overcrowding, facing many problems;train tracks separating the urban space, both sides of the weak link; complexity ofurban space enhanced, resulting in reduced performance of spatial structure.According to the findings made in Zhengzhou urban morphology optimizationsuggestions: By planning interventions to change concentric expansion mode; basedon syntactic analysis, focus on cultivating local shaping the city center and features;increase in contact resistance on both sides of the train tracks; rational use of existingspace to enhance the performance of spatial structure. Specific treatment is basedDepthmap Software Space Syntax (space syntax) analysis, syntactic analysis showedthat: syntactic theory and analysis methods for structured and historic city planningfeasibility studies, the paper by selecting Space Syntax theory with the citymorphology relatively high degree of four parameters-global integration, localintegration, intelligibility, spatial intelligence degree of Zhengzhou Citymorphological evaluation of the temporal and spatial evolution of urban planningchanged only through urban space expansion mode before you can for future healthydevelopment of urban form an optimized development mechanism for achievingsustainable urban development space infrastructure. In this study, the future of urbandevelopment in Zhengzhou has practical significance.
