Polymer packaging materials have been more and more familiar topeople due to their more convenient in use compared to the traditionalpackaging materials such as glass and metal. Polymer have originalsuperiority when applied in food packaging especially, but their barrierproperty are a key factor in application. However, the barrier propertieshave a direct relationship to their construction and shape, especially totheir crystallization.We mainly studied the influence of the additional vibration forcefield (VFF) on crystallization property and barrier property ofnano-composites in this paper. The main contents concluding: selectedfour kinds of polymer with different crastallization peoperties (HDPE, PP,PVC and PC) and nano-SiO2modified by coupling reagent (KH550,KH560and KH570), then prepared nano-composites (05wt%SiO2)and blowed to be films used this materials, the next we studied the effectof nano-SiO2on crystallization property and barrier property of the films;prepared HDPE/SiO2and PP/SiO2nano-composites under traditionalsteady state condition and vibration force field contiditon respectively,then researched the difference of the properties of the films prepared bytwo different process methods and analisised of reasons; researched theisothermal crystallization kinetics of HDPE/SiO2and PP/SiO2composites prepared by two different process methods and analisisedtheir crystallization in theory; discussed the barrier mechanism of thecomposites prepared under vibration force field.The results show that: The nano-SiO2modified by the right amountof coupling agent can dispersed well in the polymer, then improved themechanical property and barrier property of their nano-composite andtheir heterogeneous nucleation effects are more pronounced in thepolymer with better crystallization property compared to thenon-crystalline material, so it is more helpful for improvement of themicro-structure of composites in crystalline polymer; The mechanicalproperties, crystallization properties and barrier properties of thecomposites prepared under VFF are batter then prepared under TSS; The result of the isothermal crystallization kinetics indicated that the vibrationforce field to the benefit of the for crystallization of the composites;Meanwhile the composite prepared under VFF shows lamella andorientation, and it can extend the penetration path of the molecularthrough the composites effectively thus improved the barrier properties ofthe composites.
