Electrical energy plays an important role in the economic development andpeople’s lives. With widely used of the non-linear load in Power Distribution Network,the supply current and voltage become distortion which causes harmonic pollution andenergy losses. Based on the project of high rank reactive power compensation andharmonic suppression in Jiangxi Copper Group Company, a novel hybrid active powerfilter is proposed in this paper,which combines active power filter with the passivefilter, using the active filter to achieve harmonic current real-time tracking anddynamic suppression, as a result of multiple harmonics suppression at the same time;and taking the advantage of passive filter low-cost, simple structure; Achieving largecapacity reactive power compensation and characteristic subharmonic governance,sothis equipment improves the power quality of low-voltage distribution networkgreatly.Firstly, this paper presented the causes of harmonics in low voltage distributionnetwork, analyzed the disadvantages of harmonic current and the significance ofharmonic suppression; this paper expounds the background of hybrid active powerfilter is proposed.Then according to the site condition, the reactive power and harmonic demand of220kV rectification system has carried on the detailed analysis, according to theresult of analysis, gives the specific solutions, according to the given governancesolutions, this paper puts forward a new type of injection hybrid active power filter,harmonic suppression principle on its topological structure of the operationmechanism of active part injection ability and stability of the control system areanalyzed, and has set up a simulation model for the governance solution, the harmonicamplification characteristics of compensation scheme and the overall effect ofgovernance PSIM simulation, the results show that the scheme can effectively realizethe dynamic tracking performance of active filter and has a good stability.Finally, on the engineering background of parallel hybrid active power filter, theintegral part of the system was recommended, and the hardware design and thesoftware design were given respectively. The operation results of the no vel injectiontype hybrid active power filter show that the high voltage distribution network’spower quality has been improved greatly and fully comply with design requirements,and this paper analyzes the economic benefit and social benefit brought by th e device,and fully conform to the requirements of the project.
