Phase change thermal storage air conditioning system can achieve the greatload shift by the "made at night and used in daytime" operation mode, greatly ease the contradiction between supply and demand of the electricity. And fortoday’s energy crisis, especially the base station air conditioning system is energy-wasting, and meanwhile gives a new direction to the future development ofair conditioning industry used in the communication base station. Comparingthe conventional air conditioning with the phase change thermal storage air conditioning in communication base station,the later one is technically feasible but whether it is economically feasible? Therefore, we have to make the economical comparison and analysis of the two kinds of air conditioning systems. This thesis is based on the issues of the relevant argument and analysis.Firstly, the study found that the current domestic and foreign literature onthe economic analysis of the phase change thermal storage air conditioning system is still relatively little, usually about the economic analysis of comparisonwith the conventional air conditioning system in a large building, and especially lack studies for the base station. Secondly, the paper focus on a specific station in Changsha, analyzed the measured data, compared the conventional system and the phase change thermal storage air conditioning system by related measured parameters and recorded data. Then find that the phase change thermalstorage air conditioning system was better than conventional air conditioning system in temperature, humidity and cleanliness. Again, based on the measured experimental data, we simulated and analyzed phase change thermal storage airconditioning system with conventional air conditioning system by means of CYCLEPAD software. Through the simulation and analysis of refrigeration cycle characteristics and the performance parameters of two kinds of air conditioningsystem, the phase change storage air conditioning system coefficient is superiorthan conventional air conditioning system. Finally, this paper introduces twomodels of commonly used economic analysis methods, namely dynamic and static analysis model. This paper is on the basis of static analysis model, taking the interest rate and the rate of price increases into account, establishing a newmethod of analyzing model, and making economic analysis of this specific en gineering example through this model. The conclusion is that the phase variable storage air conditioning payback period are less than5years, and it is economic feasible.This paper provides a new direction for the mobile operators on the base stationair conditioning scheme selection, and also makes the evaluation criteria for theirselection.
