This paper selected a high power consumption enterprise as the research enterprise, atypical traditional chemical industry enterprise in Guangxi province. By investigation anddata collection in the enterprise, analyze the performances of the major loads and diagnose theelectrical energy-saving potential of the whole factory. Electrical energy-saving demand ofthe enterprise was ascertained by the previous steps.To implement electrical energy-saving ofenterprise, three aspects should be carried out. They are power quality improvementtechnologies for the enterprise power distribution network, power conversion and controltechnologies for electrical equipment, and monitoring system for electricity utilization andenergy-saving management.First, at the aspect of power quality improvement technologies for the enterprise powerdistribution network, test data showed that main power quality problems of the chemicalenterprise were reflected lack of reactive power compensation in the calcium carbide furnace,and out of limits of harmonic voltage caused by the rectifier load serious distortion ofharmonic current. Establishing the electrical model of the chemical enterprise, the validate ofthe model can be proved by comparison of simulation data and measured data. By analyzingthe causes of typical electrical load power quality problems in the high-energy-consumingindustries, proposed and compared two management programs for the target kind of load,parameter design and calculation of the energy-saving potential of the proposal, optimalsolutions, then, are confirmed.Then, this paper introduced the energy-saving solutions which aim at the powerconversion and control technologies for electrical equipments. Summarize the energy-savingpotential and measures for motor at the basic of principles and energy conservation principles.Regulate the450kW draught fan of lime kiln by frequency control and after the regulationenergy-saving rate is about23%, energy-saving effect is significant. Then, collect statistic ofthe type, quantity, service-time, power factor, the start-up time and maintenance frequency ofworkshop lamps and lanterns, optimal solution was obtained by comparison.Last but not least, there was about the monitoring system for electricity utilization andenergy-saving management.Typical structure and implementation of the monitoring systemfor electricity utilization were discussed. A monitoring system for electricity utilization wasdeveloped to meet the demand of the chemical enterprise, dynamically monitoring enterpriseelectricity utilization system. Principles of management were applied to the employeeperformance appraisal institution of enterprise energy-saving management. Optimize the employee performance appraisal institution with grading reward and punishment algorithm.In order to implement electric energy-saving, energy-saving technologies and energy-savingmanagement are both essential.Electrical energy-saving has been a major problem related to socio-economicdevelopment in China. A typical energy system includes three parts, production, transmission,and utilization. Among them, the energy-saving effect of energy utilization is the mostsignificant. Therefore, in order to achieve the purpose of high-efficiency energy saving, thepromotion of state-of-the-art power conversion and control technology and energymanagement technology in the enterprise is imperative.
