The porcelain material has a certain mechanical strength, thermal shockresistance, and excellent electrical properties, high chemical stability, long-term workunder harsh conditions to maintain the same mechanical strength and electricalstrength characteristics. It is the most widely used insulating material by insulator. Asthe basic raw material of electrical porcelain material, although bauxite, feldspar, clayis rich in China, supply manufacturers also more, but the scale of factory is not large,processing method is simple, the phenomenon of the raw material fluctuation anddeterioration exist generally. This will inevitably bring about porcelain formulacomposition fluctuations, eventually leading to fluctuations in the quality of theelectrical porcelain products. Therefore, this paper aims to targeted materials volatilitydata analysis, the relevant experimental study, looking for control method ofsuppression and reducing fluctuation, in order to improve the quality of electricporcelain products.First, research on the materials of bauxite, feldspar, clay incoming from2009to2012and electrical porcelain formula blank composition fluctuations. Through a largenumber of test data statistical analysis of raw materials, as well as targetedcomposition testing, found that all kinds of raw materials in the same period anddifferent period all have different degrees of composition fluctuations, fluctuations inthe size and supply manufacturers have certain connection. In addition, the electricalporcelain blank composition indeed exist fluctuations in production, the fluctuationsof different sizes in different years.Furthermore, studies the influence of the raw material composition fluctuation ofbauxite, feldspar, clay on quality fluctuation of electric porcelain. Through the ratio ofthe three kinds of raw materials in the application of electric porcelain formula,calculated the fluctuations of the formula composition because of the fluctuations ofraw materials and discusses their influence on quality of electric porcelain. For thedifferent quality bauxite XRD test, analysis when bauxite composition existfluctuation will bring its own mineral composition fluctuation, such as mullite,corundum and then deeply influence blank composition quality. In differentproportions of feldspar application of formula study, porcelain glass phase contentgradually increased, porosity is decreased, unglazed bending over160MPa and no obvious difference, porcelain volume density, open porosity and water absorption rateshowed a trend change with the increase of adding amount. In the plasticity andcombining fluctuation of clay and blank study, found that greatly affects the quality ofonline products. Through the K2O-SiO2-Al2O3ternary phase diagram analysis andtheoretical studies, raw material composition fluctuation will affect the performanceof electrical porcelain formula.Finally, the study concluded that the control method of the electrical porcelainquality fluctuation. Mainly by the raw material selection and designated suppliers,purchasing amount of procurement in the short term, strengthen material testing,optimization of billet preparation process and strengthen the on-line control and so onthe effective control method. The author expounds the products quality of DalianInsulator Group Co., Ltd. after quality fluctuation control.
