Plastic has become indispensable to people’s life item, which has corrosion resistance and is not easy to decompose. Making use of these waste plastic more completely and reducing environmental pollution have become a concerning topic in the world. Reducing the amount of waste plastic, recycling of plastic, and polymer materials are the most common use methods for processing the waste plastic. The procedure for the treatment of waste plastic should follow the reduction rules to improve product performance, such as the long service life of the old, multi-function, product suitable design. In all plastic manufacturers, it is inevitable to produce the waste plastic. This kind of the resource recycling rules can be realized by means of the melt regeneration, the thermal cracking, energy recovery, recycling and other chemical raw material processing methods. The degradation of material standard can solve only the waste plastic pollution problems, but it cannot make the circulation utilization of resource. Up to now, it is success only in the plastic recycling, but it is not realized in repeating to utilize it. So it is very broad to develop the cycling utilization of the waste plastic.By measuring experimentally the performance of the waste plastic, we can determine the feasibility and applicability of the waste plastic in the application of road construction. Using the PET as the main material is not only to achieve the recycling of waste plastic, but also reduce the environmental pollution and achieve the purpose of turning waste into treasure. Developing new approaches and technology to recycle and utilize comprehensively the waste PET plastic bottles is very significance in solving the environmental pollution problems.The paper is mainly focused on the application of PET plastics materials in road. The mixing amount of PET, specimen age, curing conditions of specimen, the mixing amount of nanometer calcium carbonate and the effect of the amount of the fly ash replacement on the strength of recycled plastic mortar were analyzed and discussed. The results show that PET recycled plastics mortar has a higher strength, can condense and harden faster. After the18hours curing, the strength of the specimen changed very little, and the compressive strength can reach up to37MPa. Under the conditions that the compressive strength remains constant and the production processes are not very complicated, it can be found that when the ratio of plastic to sand is about1:3, the better suitable result can be obtained, at which the compressive strength of the specimens meet the construction requirements. Added to a small amount of5%asphalt, flexural strength will be improved to some extent. From the contrast test results, it is shown that the PET recycled plastics mortar has good resistance to sulfate corrosion.
