With Chinese rapid development dynamic Compaction processing technology hasbeen used more and more widely in China, so it is very significant to research theapplication of the dynamic Compaction processing technology in the civil engineering.Dynamic Compaction processing technology is very useful and effective to solvethe civil basements with the backfill materials especially the crushed gravel, sand,unsaturated fine-grained soil, loess fall, plain fill. Normally we call dynamic compactionprocessing technology as "Dynamic Compaction". Dynamic compaction was firstlydeveloped by Merna Co., Ltd. to solid the engineering basements in France in1969. This method was widely applied to basements treatment in the material-filled field.With the method developing maturely we derived a new technology (Dynamiccompaction replacement technology) to deal with the engineering basements accordingto the different filled material. Dynamic compaction replacement technology isone method that we use cylindrical hammer to make hole on the basements then fillsome stones, gravels and other coarse particulate materials. We solid the material atthe same time we fill the materials. We hammer the material continuously in orderto create a high compaction replacement pier. This method can compact the materialaround the pier, create a effective solid, save the engineering time and cost.It has been proved that Dynamic compaction technology will have bright future.Because it is simple and easy to deal with by workers. And its solid compaction is verygood and it can save your time and cost. So it has been applied to the engineering inmost of countries in the world. As far this technology developed so fast. However wedon’t know the principle clearly even are confused sometimes. So the theory is far wayfrom the practice. Normally we make the reasonable engineering parameters accordingto the site situation. In fact we only get the parameters after lots of experiments on site.Because they are different for the geological structure, construction style, contractionway and so on from different areas. It is difficult to reform a mature theory as far.Following please find the nowadays theory of dynamic compaction:Reinforcement principleNormally there are several following principle for the dynamic compaction:(1).Dynamic fixing (2) Dynamic compaction (3) Dynamic ReplacementHuludao is one of the five seaside cities in Liaoning. Huludao is also the first cityafter Sanhaiguan. It has a good geographic location. However three sides of the cityare mountains and one side is sea. So the field resources are very valuable and scarcefor the city development. So Huludao made lost reclamation land recently. In fact the dynamic compaction technology is applied widely to the reclamation land. So we hopewe can get valuable engineering parameters by analyzing lots of engineering cases.Meanwhile we hope the parameters can offer active reference for the relativeengineering in the Huludao area.In fact as professional engineering practitioner I did lots of dynamic compactiontechnology design and engineering in Huludao reclamation land area. I got the firsthand data and information about the engineering. Now I take a actual engineering as asample. I get all the engineering parameters during the engineering design, monitor,result test. In fact the parameters can offer a valuable reference to the relatedengineering in this area. Following please find the research contents:1) We test the distance of the ram point according to the monitor between the oldpoint and the movable point. We will analyze and deduce the relationship betweentemping power and ram point distance. This relevance is just for the reclamation landarea in Huludao;2) We can know the most reasonable temping energy and the frequency of thetemping according to the monitor the dissipating time of the water pressure in the pore.3) We can get the influence depth of the temping and the value of the capacity afterthe dynamic compact according to the monitor of the old point. We will deduce therelationship between the influence depth and the temping energy.4) The Author just demonstrate some experienced parameter from some dynamiccompaction engineering especial the huge temping energy engineering. Although theparameters just are from the Huludao area, we think they are valuable reference to therelated engineering.
