The Design And Construction Of Intelligent Building Laboratory

With the development of information technology, building intelligence has been one of the most important parts of informatization, which roots deeply into various aspects of our daily life.The shortage of talent, the shortage of professionals, is becoming prominent problem now, so the primary task for the universities and colleges for the moment is to vigorously train the technology-based students. As a result, it becomes more and more important to set up a multifunctional applicable lab with practicality and high efficiency for intelligent buildings.The thesis analyses the development of intelligent buildings, elaborates in details about the actual requirements of an intelligent building lab, and puts forward the objectives and plans of setting up such a lab. The lab consists of a lot of modules, for instance, Entrance Guard Visual Conversational System, Monitored Control System, Fire Extinguisher System, Premises Distribution System, DDC Illuminating System. Based on computer and communication technology, CCD photography and video imaging technology, Entrance guard Visual conversational System is designed to be a kind of intelligent information management technology for visitor’s identification. Monitoring Control System (which is based on the remote controlled camera and its auxiliary equipments) and Security System realizes video surveillance and recording of the core area of intelligent buildings As an important part of intelligent building.Premises Distribution System which consists of cabling system makes it possible to communicate and exchange the information between inside and outside of the intelligent building. Consisted of fire detecting device and fire alarm control unit, the Fire Extinguisher System is linked with all kinds of fire extinction equipments and communication apparatus required by different engineering projects. DDC control unit, force-control configuration software and lightings, DDC Illuminating System monitors the light and lamps of the building all the time.
