Hydraulic turbine is the power machinery which can concert flow of energy to rotationalmechanical energy.It is not only playing a huge role in the energy recovery system in thesteelmaking, in the petroleum and other chemical industry system., but also applied as thebasic operation of the device of a hydroelectric power plant. The mechanical and kineticenergy in the natural water sources can be fully utilized to supply electricity for the people’sliving standards and production.Hydraulic turbine speed regulation seriously affects the operation security of energyrecovery system and power production quality, its importance is self-evident. With thedevelopment of science and technology, the whole world pay much more attention to theecological industry, electricity demand continues to expand, the stability of the power systemrequirements getting higher and higher, the turbine as an important part of hydraulic power,its speed runs with an extremely important role in the safe operation of ecological industryand power system stability。So the research for hydraulic turbine regulating system which ismore efficient and stable, it has practical significance in theory and engineering.According to the development status and research progress,in view of the problems ofthe existing hydraulic turbine speed adjustment and control system, a kind of hydraulicturbine governing system control algorithm programming computer controller based on singleneuron adaptive PID is designed in this paper. The main work and results are as follows:(1) Introduced the background, purpose and significance of topic, expounds thedevelopment history and the process of hydraulic turbine governor. Introduces thecharacteristics of all kinds of hydraulic turbine governor and the advantages anddisadvantages, proposes the existing problems and shortcomings of hydro turbine governor.(2) Research on the regulation and control system of hydraulic turbine speed, putsforward the whole system design scheme, design the system structure diagram of hardwarecircuit diagram and related links. The speed control system using ARM7as the core chip real-time detection speed, based on the application of PCC controller using single neuronadaptive PID intelligent control method for speed adjustment, has the characteristics of highefficiency, rapid and stable.(3) The water turbine governing system is divided into regulating object and the controlunit.Establish the linear model by using Simulink software for water diversion system,hydraulic turbine、 generator and load units, mechanical and hydraulic components.Linearization of the turbine system conducive to the validity of the control method.(4) Designing speed measurement system based on ARM, drawing its hardware circuitand using incremental photoelectric encoder and Schmitt trigger signal processor to signalfiltering, plastic processing, application of LPC2114makes the control system can monitorthe real-time turbine speed.(5) On the basis of the turbine governor based on programmable computer controller,combined with intelligent control theory, putting forward a single neuron adaptive PIDcontrol strategies. Using simulink software to modeling. The combining the various parts ofthe simulation model, constituting a system model and simulation. Simulation results showthat the system is able to better complete the speed adjustment and control.
