Up to now,VAV system gradually become the mainstream of the air conditioning system because of it’s energy conservation and comfort. However, the characteristic of VAV system is multivariable, strong coupling, time-varying and nonlinear. So its operation and control will be more difficult than constant air volume air conditioning system. This limits the wider application of VAV system.This paper mainly revolves around the stable operation of VAV system for research.Firstly, we analyzed the difficulty of controlling of VAV system and the characteristics of the coupling between each control loop,which is based on the commonly used control way and principle at present. Then, we divided the VAV system into units, so we can analysis it’s mechanism. And we have got the mathematical models and parameters of the units and end part with the method of experimental test. The multivariable decoupling control strategy based on neural network is proposed on the basis of traditional decoupling method of multivariable system in this paper. And we have designed the structure of the BP neural network decoupling and neuron adaptive PID controller. We determined the initial value of the weights of the controller by the parameters of the traditional PID control algorithm. Finally, we have proved by MATLAB that the proposed control scheme can complete decoupling and control tasks of the system.And you can be improved by learning control law in the process of control.The scheme has good decoupling and robustness. We have studied the implementation of mixed programming of LABVIEW and MATLAB, We also used Labview to design the interface which can give people a more intuitive effect.Through a series of research on VAV system, which can achieve stable operation,saving energy and improving the indoor comfort purposes, it has the vital significance to the intelligent building energy management of these control.
