With the railways in our country continually learn advanced foreign technology on the basis of independent research, our country railway transportation is oriented to intelligentization and high-speed development rapidly. And the gradual increase in quantity of the high-speed railway also provides convenience for people’s travel. At the same time in the rapid development of high-speed railway, these matters about the train safety, vehicle fault diagnosis accuracy or rapidity and accuracy on repairing train fault, become more important and draw great attention from public people. Train fault diagnosis system is one of the effective methods to ensure the normal running of trains and to avoid catastrophic accidents. As a result, the study of fault diagnosis system has been the top priority in the research field of the fault.Based on the present situation and development trend of study in fault diagnosis technology and according to the characteristics of large amounts of data information appearing in vehicle fault diagnosis, the article will apply intelligence technology of Multi-Agent information fusion in fault diagnosis of train to analyze of the present situation and application of Multi-Agent information fusion. And it also Introduce related theoretical knowledge of the Agent technology, Multi-Agent system, information fusion technology and the fault diagnosis technology. The article focuses on the concept and characteristics of the Multi-Agent system, Agent communication architecture, Multi-Agent system, the characteristic of information fusion and fault diagnosis methods, etc.This paper introduces the application of Multi-Agent information fusion in train fault diagnosis.Begin from train structure analysis fault diagnosis process and it studied train fault diagnosis in details. It expounds the Multi-Agent information fusion method, model and system structure. And then author will Mulit-Agent information fusion method applied to fault diagnosis of train and establish train model framework of fault diagnosis system. To make the perfect combination between Multi-Agent information fusion technology and fault diagnosis technology come true.According to the system prototype, this paper designs and implements the train fault diagnosis system based on Multi-Agent information fusion. To complete the overall design for the system, analyzs demand analysis, system framework and the function modules, definite role of Multi-Agent, designed the knowledge base and database, and put forward a system realization method based on interaction. The system prototype uses of the Java development language and MySQL data management realized vehicle fault diagnosis system. The implementation of the system meets the demand of train fault diagnosis and it’s easy to maintain and extend. And it has certain practical value.
