With the rapid expansion of the scale of wind power in China, because do not have low voltage ride through ability, the parallel operation wind generator or wind farms influence the safe and stable operation of grid issues are increasingly show. This paper Analyzes the double-fed induction generator’s transition characteristic and presents a low voltage ride through approach by utilizing a passive impedance buffer in series at the stator side of a typical DFIG wind turbine. Further using this low voltage ride through improved method on the asynchronous wind turbine. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the parameters of DFIG and the asynchronous wind turbine are limited to allow of the technical indicators and meet the requirements of the new domestic and foreign wind generator low voltage ride through regulator codes. ensure that wind generator and grid operate in the safety and stability state. Due to its topology and control strategy, the proposed system is easy to control, capable of high efficiency off-line operation and low cost in manufacturing and maintenance. And a doubly-fed induction wind power generators low voltage ride through device hardware circuit is designed, Through further experiments to prove the low voltage device is effective and practical.
