With the society development and people living standard rise, a product can be recognized by the general public, depending on that it not only meet the functional requirements, but also meet the demand of people’s experience at the same time. In addition to that the proportion of the latter is rising year by year. How to achieve a combination of user experience and product design is one of the important subject confronted by design professionals.Meanwhile, growing aging population problem makes elderly becoming an important part of social groups, and the elderly product design is seen as an important design focus. The issue basing on older appliances, and making elderly walker product design as the breakthrough point, finds the value of user experience in product design, and puts forward the design of the related countermeasures. And hope it can bring design material and design inspiration to the related design personnel.This topic is broadly divided into four parts:The first part include research background, purpose, significance, research status and research methods, which are used to elaborate the necessity and feasibility of this research; The second part states the theory of user experience and analyzes physiological characteristics and psychological characteristics of the elderly; The third part states the walker product concept and its classification, and elderly walker product design principle and strategy are proposed based on the study of design elements and user experience system. The fourth part is the analysis summary and practical investigation, on the basis of the old age walker product design practice. Hope the findings will be useful in enriching the old market and contributing to improve the life quality of old people.
