| Wind energy is a clean, renewable, huge reserves of energy, fossil fuel is depleted in the environment, wind energy as a major alternative energy sources will become the focus of development of renewable energy. So the study of control strategies for reducing mechanical loads of wind turbine has become the key to improve the efficiency of wind turbine, simulation research of the wind turbine has been relatively mature, so the control strategy used to improve the maximum wind turbine energy will be the key that improve the efficiency of wind turbine. Because wind has regional and instability characteristics,the control technology of the large wind turbines has a very important practical significance.This paper mainly analyzes the variable pitch control strategy, based on collective pitch control (CPC), individual pitch control (IPC) was studied, using the load feedback and wind speed feedforward mixed control strategy to realize the independent variable pitch control of wind turbine. The wind shear effect and tower shadow effect show, wind speed is not uniform in space, so the load of the wind turbine is also not uniform, collective pitch control in the actual control of blade force and wind energy capture is inadequate, therefore need to put forward a new control mode to make up for these shortcomings, individual pitch will emerge as the times required.The wind turbine model including wind model, aerodynamic model, dynamic model and control model, this paper uses the S4WT software to analyze the load of the wind turbine, built the model of wind turbine and the corresponding control strategy is designed to stabilize the output power in Matlab, and compared with collective pitch control, the output torque fluctuation of hub, gear box etc can be significantly reduce, which to some extent reduce the fatigue life of wind turbine. |
