Passenger compartment door system is one of the important system of urban rail transit train, and failure of passenger compartment door system has a large proportion in the vehicle failure, and the safety of the train running on time, which affects the safety of train running on time. Therefore, finding out the root cause of system failure timely which can save maintenance time is necessary. However, for the forms of failures are changeable and complicated, which is difficult to diagnose and forecast, the traditional fault analysis method (FTA and FMECA, etc.) can’t meet the requirements of passenger compartment door system fault diagnosis. As a result, studying of a viable and efficient system fault diagnosis passenger door to express fault information clearly and accurate evaluation and fault diagnosis is very meaningful.In the paper, research work for urban rail passenger door system fault diagnosis is as follows:1. For urban rail passenger compartment door system features, the paper proposed a method based on fault diagnosis (IFPN) improved fuzzy Petri nets, based on the theory of fuzzy Petri nets and fuzzy production rules that add colored Petri nets which can make the model express the fault information more clearly, and integrated using of fuzzy reasoning Petri net positive diagnosis reasoning and so on.2. At present, research on fuzzy Petri nets diagnosis of city rail passenger door system failure is lacking. Papers applied research based on improved fuzzy Petri nets (IFPN) system for urban rail passenger door. On the basis of analyzing the system structure and operating principle of the fault phenomena, the model of the system IFPN is constructed, completing the intelligent evaluation of passenger compartment door system fault state and Realizing the possible fault source priority order. At the same time, Using "open resistance big" in passenger compartment door as an example, the paper demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility of diagnostic methods.3. On the Windows operating platform, using Matlab a fault diagnosis system of passenger door based on IFPN was designed and developed which can achieve a rapid evaluation of intelligent fault diagnosis of the state and the reasons for failure, and can Help the subway staff to grasp fault condition of Passenger compartment door system timely and effectively. Then, finding fault source quickly to ensure timeliness of maintenance.
