This paper takes the vehicle-mounted WorldFIP network communication system of Nanjing Metro Line1as the research object. Through Analytic Hierarchy Process, sort to the weight of evaluation index of the system component functions. And combining failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA), we select key components of the WorldFIP communication system. Then take the fault forms and treatment measures of the key components to do pretreatment, and set up WorldFIP communication system reliability evaluation model to do reliability analysis through using Markov process method. Combining with field failure data, do quantitative calculation to evaluate the reliability index of the WorldFIP communication system of Nanjing Metro Line1.According to the results of reliability analysis, the WorldFIP communication system reliability of Nanjing Metro Line1needs to be further improved. In order to completely record the status information and fault data of every equipment on WorldFIP bus, and further analysis reliability of WorldFIP network system to provide support for the equipment maintenance, the paper based on the WorldFIP bus technique, develop bus data recorder.With the purpose of realizing the basic network communication function of the data recorder, the paper carries analysis to the communication protocol of WorldFIP fieldbus network layer. And based on FPGA technique, develop WorldFIP communication card to realize the sending and receiving function of WorldFIP bus, also design bus interface circuit and CRC checking function.Based on ARM microcontroller, μC/os-Ⅱ embedded system, and CF card storage technology, set up software and hardware test platform to verify the communication function and performance of independent developed WorldFIP network card, and choose the data storage solution. Afterwards, according to the function requirement and work environment, adjust the experimental platform structure and function, and develop bus data recorder, then debug and commissioning with the motorway. The data recorder can record the whole state information and fault information of WorldFIP bus equipments of Nanjing Metro, which provides strong support to the fault analysis and maintenance of equipments in the future, and also has practical significance to the localization of WorldFIP network platform.
