Dynamic extended range electric vehicle from the drive motor,electric energyconsumed only in running. Extended range electric vehicle is between the pureelectric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. Extended range electric vehicle has theadvantages of simple structure, can work in multiple modes.In this paper, the extended range electric vehicle energy conversion is carriedout.Mainly for extended range electric vehicle energy conversion system drive/energy feedback braking unit, a hybrid energy storage device, auxiliary power unitare analyzed and studied, the extended range electric vehicle energy conversionsystem to select each with the selected models match.This paper studied the motortypes and characteristics of motor of electric vehicle driving range, according to theproject of vehicle parameters to calculate the performance parameters of the drivemotor.Simulation characteristics and acceleration characteristics of climbing to thevehicle by using the simulation software ADVISOR, simulation results show thatthe vehicle driving force and climbing are meet the requirement.Through the studyon the strategy and efficiency control brake energy feedback, a feedback brakingcontrol strategy classification energy for different road condition design, enhancesthe electric vehicle braking performance.The study of hybrid energy storage device,the actual vehicle parameters based on the battery and super capacitor, with theadvantages of the two design of a hybrid energy storage device, the device solves thesingle energy can not meet the demand of vehicle.The engine auxiliary power systemand motor power matching, the process of design, through the establishment ofextended range electric vehicle model, the auxiliary power unit of work carried outby the simulation ADVISOR, the simulation results prove that the electric car afterequipped with auxiliary power unit, a substantial increase in mileage.Through practical experiments, the extended range electric vehicle driveperformance and auxiliary power system verify the feasibility. The experimental results show that compare with traditional stroke increasing electric car vehicle energyconservation effect is good, more conducive to environmental protection.
