This paper focuses on the three rod laser spraying with five degrees of freedomparallel platform mechanism are studied, mainly including: kinematics equations ofthree rod five DOF parallel platform is studied in details, and then based on theADAMS simulation platform were related to the kinematic simulation; for the lasernozzle part adopts a fluid dynamics simulation software FLUENT is simulationresearch.(1) Based on the ADAMS technology, the use of three-dimensional Solidwokssoftware modeling, make full use of kinematics and dynamics analysis function ofADAMS’s strong, implement three parallel platform mechanism with five degrees offreedom dynamic simulation.(2) The simulation study of three rod five degree of freedom parallel platformmechanism based on Solidworks and ADAMS, through the simulation principle of theparallel platform, the simulation result shows the parallel machine tool in themovement is steady, the moving platform nozzle mechanism can all arrive in theworking space, and in the whole working space no interference and singular, verifythe correctness of the theory of mechanism kinematics model. The three rod fivedegree of freedom parallel platform for the motion performance analysis, we obtain akinematic equation of parallel platform, and the properties of workspace, singularityis analyzed. On the working space of parallel platform was studied, the results showthat the structure of the platform working space is big, can meet the need of lasercoating used as processing. Moreover, the interior of the parallel platform mechanismworkspace continuous without holes. The singularity of the parallel platform isanalyzed, results show that the singularity does not exist in the workspace, and nimbleoperation are very good.(3) Based on the theory of computational fluid mechanics, analysis of the flowfield characteristics of three rod five DOF parallel platform nozzle by using FLUENT simulation platform, for the future of laser spraying has some help. Supersonic LaFarge nozzle model designed in the guiding principle of aerodynamics, the gasdynamic parameters is very good, the jetted gas conditions will be greatly improved.Especially in the correct design conditions, the P0potential can be transformed intoeffective airflow speed energy, so the ejected gas speed than the speed of sound andthe energy increases with increase in the injection of gas pressure P0, can obtainhigher gas dynamics. In the nozzle, the pressure remains almost unchanged, onlyclose to the exit of the pressure gradient is greater. Explain the apparent acceleration,through the numerical simulation of flow field inside the nozzle can be easily giventrajectory, facilitate the flow inside the nozzle intuitive understanding of people, andthis is almost impossible in experimental study.
