Discuss the structure and characteristics of the PEMFC to get knowledge of the major factors which can influence its performance. Also design a set of scheme for PEMFC performance test system. Choose appropriate instruments and apply data acquisition equipment and LABview program to connect the equipment with computer for detection and controlling in real time.Conclusion shows that PEMFC performance can be enhanced with heating and humidification.PEMFC performance can be enhanced with the increasing of the cathode (air) mass flow rate. This is mainly because that increase the air mass flow rate is to increase the oxygen concentration. This decreases the effect of the concentration polarization. Meanwhile, the hydrogen utilization ratio decline with the increasing of the hydrogen mass flow rate.
