| Currently, SUAV has been developed in the world of both military and civilian, the UAV Ground Station as the core of the system also has become the key projects in the national institutions, so it has great significance for research on key technologies and methods to achieve the basic functions of Ground Station based on engineering need.Firstly, This paper anglicized and summarized the overall structure of the Ground Station based on the development of the SUAV systems and their applications, and focusing on research and design of communication link between the Ground Station and the SUAV, map playback and so on. This paper used LabVIEW graphical programming language to develop a high efficiency, intuitive and good flexibility, scalability and compatibility, etc., more efficient, intuitive database access, serial communications, navigation maps and other small unmanned the basic function of machine ground station, this paper select LabVIEW programming language developed as a,Ground Station software. in the LabVIEW development environment, Ground Station system using VISA serial to achieve the communication control function, the MapX’s basic operations in the MapInfo company have been achieved by calling the Active Control while using Access databases and text files realization of flight data storage and playback. The topics developed by the ground station software support PC-Windows operating platform, the ground station via RS232serial port and the wireless communication module to receive small UAV downlink telemetry data packets, and according to its serial protocol analysis, real-time display and control instrumentation and electronic maps by air on altitude, speed, heading and attitude, heading for real-time display.Because the UAV is very expensive and damaged easily, so the LabVIEW debugging software is designed to replace the small UAV ground station telemetry data packet is generated and the command response, the realization of the ground station commissioning, then online testing, ground station validate the feasibility, implementation methods described herein ground station system function of each module for further engineering application of the foundation. |
