China is in the world’s two seismic active zone (between the Central Pacific and Himalayan tectonic belt) is the most serious one of the countries in the global seismic disaster victim countries. Therefore, the research on geotechnical dynamic characteristics of Hainan clay is extremely essential.The red clay is a regional special soil, China have different levels of distribution in Southwest, South, East, South and other regions. Hainan has representative regional special soil-red clay, the author make the dynamic triaxial test to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the red clay.Haikou red clay in triaxial test results, taking into account the characteristics of dynamic strength factors, dynamic deformation characteristics of dynamic pore water pressure, the dynamic constitutive model, the difference between the dynamic characteristics and static characteristics.The main conclusions obtained in this article are the following:(1) The Haikou clay indoor soil test, it obtains the engineering properties of indicators, such as high moisture content, porosity, liquid and plastic limit, and other engineering properties of parameters.(2)Haikou clay dynamic triaxial test, taking into account the four characteristics of dynamic strength factors:consolidate pressure、over consolidation ration(OCR). dynamic shear stress ratio, vibration, on the Haikou red clay power features, analyze the causes of the laws of various phenomena. Access to the dynamic strength in a certain failure criterion. According to the results calculated softening index, and by fitting the fitting formula. Reveals the dynamic pore pressure law, and test results analysis, using the Zhang Jian-min model analysis of dynamic pore water pressure is more appropriate. Using Equivalent linear model to analyze the dynamic constitutive relation of the Haikou red clay and obtaining the dynamic parameters.(3) Research on Static behavior of Haikou red clay, to determine the Cambridge model parameters, and this power algorithm to predict. Comparative analysis:the dynamic strength and static strength can be mobilized cohesion slightly larger than the static cohesion, which is1.17times, while the angle of internal friction is essentially the same.
