With the environment pollution and energy crisis more and more serious, Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is developing rapidly. There are two main energy storage elements in EV, the high voltage Li-ion battery and the12V low voltage battery. The high voltage li-ion battery provide energy to the electromotor and also used for regenerative breaking, storing energy back to the battery. The12V low voltage battery serves all kinds of instruments and the control system energy. To connect the high-voltage battery and the12V battery, a DC/DC converter is needed with the requirements of high efficiency, high power density and high reliability. As of high efficiency and simple structure, Full bridge ZVS converter is becoming a research hotspot. In this thesis, full bridge ZVS converter and peak current control interleaved Boost converter are studiedThe state of the art of on-board power supply is reviewed. The full bridge ZVS converter is selected to accomplish further theoretical and experimental research. The design method of main circuit parameters is given and the small signal model is built. To verify the theoretical analysis, A750W DC/DC converter prototype is built and static and dynamic experiments are presented, meanwhile, the bridge short circuit issue is analyzed and corresponding solution is given.Efficiency is the most important factor of the on-board power supply. The loss break down is given based on phase analysis, and efficiency optimization methods of the converter are presented according to different source of loss. A1500W prototype with two converters in parallel is carried out and experimental results are given.A1500W interleaved boost converter is built, the converter adopts peak current control and corresponding small signal model is given, the compensation network is designed and dynamic experiments is given to verify the correctness of model.
