Since its introduction in1859, battery has been widely used in a variety of devices,including electric vehicles,variety of handheld devices and uninterruptible power supplysystem.In practical applications, the battery charge and discharge process ofelectrochemical reaction is an extremely complex process, traditional charging methodoften occur the battery overcharge or insufficient charge.It’s severely affected the life ofbattery.At different times of charging and discharging process, battery selection of thecharging mode is not the same.Through real-time, stable, easy to detect the state ofbattery charge and discharge, select the type of charging and discharging, and furtherto control the battery charging process, rapid effective to charge the battery, therebyimproving battery performance and extend the life of the batteries.By analyzing the the battery electrochemical reaction principle, the characteristicsof the work in the charge-discharge process, and main problem of the battery in theactual production, battery charge and discharge control system of several components:battery status monitoring,charge and discharge management, a detailed analysis existingtheory and charging method, according to the actual needs of enterprises, design set viaEthernet to CAN bus battery charge and discharge control system, the battery state ofcharge online real-time transfer to the PC, the PC for different battery charge anddischarge status, select the appropriate charging curve to charge the battery.We designed a Coxtex-M3battery charge and discharge controller, the controllercan be real-time acquisition state of battery charge and discharge voltage, current,temperature parameters,and interference in the electromagnetic environment,theacquisition circuit completely isolated treatment, to ensure the stability of the datacollection and reliable.After a long period of research and experiments, the subject has achieved initialdesign goals, designed a battery charge and discharge control system based onCortex-M3, laid the foundation of battery charge and discharge management.
