This paper states the research and application status of the electric vehicle drivesystem using a motor and its drive control mode, different optimal control strategies forelectric vehicle drive system with induction motor have been summarized. On thepremise of system control performance, aim at enhancing the continuous distance with asingle charge of electric vehicle and improving its dynamic response speed, theefficiency optimal control problem of induction motor has been studied. The mainresearch works are as follows:1、Starting from the mathematical model of the induction motor, through analysisof the loss of the system, establishes the mathematical model of the induction motor onvector control platform.2、Adopting layer-by-layer prediction model based on binary tree neural network,the optimal rotor flux given value of induction motor under different operatingconditions was obtained. The simulation results show that using the optimal rotor fluxgiven value it got from the model will provide induction motor drive system withenhanced operating efficiency.3、Considering the inevitable parameters perturbation in the running process of themotor and the impacts of various uncertain factors such as load disturbance, a novelreaching law function is adopted, fuzzy control strategy is designed to adjust theparameters of the reaching law function, and a fuzzy sliding mode variable structurecontrol scheme of induction motor based on a novel reaching law was developed. Thesimulation results show that this control scheme can effectively realize efficiencyoptimization of the system with its strong robustness and fast dynamic responsecharacteristics.
