Each link in the power system of intellectualization and digitization is steadilypromoting. As a new generation of information communication network, The Internetof things has the characteristics of comprehensive perception, reliable transmissionand intelligent processing. This thing has already received a lot of attention betweenacademia and engineering, which applies IoT technology into intelligent power grid.In order to ensure the safe operation of the power transmission and transformationequipment, the intelligent monitoring and life cycle management application aresuccessively put forward, these applications require a unique identifier, directionalsensing devices, but the present codes for present equipment have Chinese phonetic orEnglish abbreviation and characters, which is not easy to understand and linear datainteraction between different systems. Therefore, this paper introduces the Internet ofthings encode-identification technology and designs the corresponding equipmentidentification code oriented power transmission and transformation equipment, whichcan effectively improve the perceptual speed and quality of equipment information.By analyzing the present status of power transmission and transformationequipment encode-identification, and combining with the Internet of thingsencode-identification technology, this paper presents the application of Internet ofthings encode-identification technology in the field of unique identification for powertransmission and transformation equipment. On the basis of distinct Internet of thingsand the concept of smart grid, this paper clarifies the conceptual category for internetof power transmission and transformation equipment, By filtering encodinginformation and analyzing coding reference model, combining with the existingequipment coding standards, equipment identification code compiling principle isdeveloped, and then a coding scheme based on the EPC-96is put forward for thepower transmission and transformation equipment, In the meantime of giving thecorresponding coding examples, the relation between equipment identification codeand the existing electric power equipment coding is analyzed. Next, theencode-identification system is studied, the coding system, Internet of middleware,and other key technologies are analyzed, and then the equipment identification codein the application of power transmission and transformation equipment monitoringmodel is proposed, through the construction of information integration platform solves the information interaction between encode-identification system and otherpower transmission and transformation equipment of the system.Finally, system level encode-identification test, which is used to verify thiscoding scheme and identification application mode, is designed in C language andACCESS database. Results show that the proposed power transmission andtransformation equipment coding scheme and the corresponding implementationmethod and identification application mode, have the advantages of reasonable,correct and practical, unique identification, which provides the theoretical supportand technical solutions for power transmission and transformation equipment and itsapplication in electric power production.
