With the characteristic of small deformation, structural rigidity, smooth andcomfortable riding, easy maintenance and reasonable consumption, Prestressedconcrete continuous bridge has been developing rapidly. But this type of bridge hasa big problem is that its internal force increases quickly with the increase of the span.In order to effectively reduce weight, play to the advantages of steel and concrete,and improve the overall structure of the mechanical performance, Steel—concretehybrid structure is increasingly used in bridge structure.Steel and concrete through joint connection become integral joint force In thehybrid structure. In modern times steel-concrete joint is often used in cable-stayedbridge, suspension bridge and arch bridge, and it is the weak part of the hybridbridge. Chongqing Yangtze River double track bridge is completed in June24,2009.It is the first continuous rigid frame bridge use of steel—concrete joint in theworld,and set the first record of use steel—concrete joint in the continuous rigidframe bridge. It laid a foundation to the continuous hybrid bridge connection design.Chongqing Yangtze River double track bridge is one thousand and three pointfive meters long,and it is a continuous rigid frame hybrid bridge. Bridge spanarrangement for this bridge is that:87.75m+2×138m+138m+138m+330m(mainspan)+133.75m. In order to solve the problem because of gravity affect theability of the cross, the108m steel beam is creatively used in the330m mainspan.This form effectively play to the characteristics of the steel and concrete. Relative to steel beam, the steel—composite beam has the advantages of: Goodability to resist fatigue,bearing capacity of the solid, Very low amount of steel, easyconstruction and low impact coefficient, etc.Based on the advantages of the composite beams above, This subject takes thebridge as the background and proposed new structure.This new structure replacesthe original bridge girder with composite beams. We research force of the joint inthe proposed str new ucture under different connection.The main content of this article as follow:(1) Introducing and suming up some theories and research status of the hybridstructure and connection ways.(2) Setting up the whole bridge finite element model of The new proposedbridge by MIDAS CIVIL and checking special section internal force of the joint.(3) Establishing finite element model and detail analysis for the proposed jointby ANSYS.(4) Analysising and comparing the Stress distribution of the joint connection.
