| With the development of Machine vision technology, Machine vision has been widely used in many areas,for example, the measurement of the size of the industrial products, the products sorting,welding and depth estimation, and so on. The application of machine vision technology can improve the efficiency of the operators and the accuracy of the parameter measurement effectively.In this paper, we make use of Machine vision technology to design and develop a detection system of mobile phone battery sizes.The detection system consists of three modules:the movement control of the lithium battery workbench, the image acquisition of the battery and the image processing. First of this paper introduces the composition of the motion control module and the working principle of motion control of the system, analysis the transmission of signals between the motion controller,drive and the other access device, and the structure of the machine used to measure the size of the lithium battery, and achieves the design of the motion control software. Then this paper elaborates the composition and the working principle of the image acquisition module in the detection system, It analysis the working model of the camera and the image acquisition mode in the image acquisition module deeply, and explains detailed about the feature extraction algorithm of the battery size in the image processing module,and it also researches the image processing method of the cell size. Finally, through the experimental test about this system, we give the experimental results of battery sizes and the measurement accuracy analysis.The image acquisition of length and width, size and thickness of the lithium battery adopts an industrial camera and a3D camera respectively. The major technologies in this system include the calibration method of camera, the processing of the camera lens radial distortion, the edge features extraction algorithm of digital image. By comparison of the lithium size of the system’s actual test and standard lithium battery size, measurement error is less than0.04mm, It is able to meet requirements of measurement accuracy of the phone lithium battery. The work efficiency and accuracy of measurement method has improved significantly than the traditional manual method. |
