Camera calibration is a hotspot in computer vision research. It is widely used in3Dreconstruction,medical diagnosis and aerial mapping. The two-dimensionalcoordinates in the image can be used to three-dimensional reconstruction ofobjects by camera calibration. And being applied in various fields.The camera calibration theory and method were studied in thispaper,including obtaining the parameters of camera, estabilshing of thecorrespondences between3D space and2D image.designing the cameracalibration accuracy calibration method and calibration of projector based onZhang’s method.From that we can provide reliable data for computer vision andstereo vision for the next step of research,and laying the good foundation.Thispaper mainly studies the following aspects.1. Analysising of the traditional calibration method,.In view of the two stepcalibration method being complex.we need to have high accuracy calibration.AndZhang’s calibration reference points are too dependent on the accuracy of thecamera the robust is a little bad.This paper presents a curve fitting concentricself-calibration method based on cross.With being in differene ways to thetraditional points extraction,Coordinating of the feature points are relativelyaccurate.Calculations of the camera calibration results have higher accuracy.Atthe same time,the principle of this method is simple,convenient,practical andgood operability.2. Analysising of the traditional projector calibration method-linearcalibration method.Analyzing the principle for the coding and decoding of thecorresponding orthogonal gray code calibration.According to its calibrationaccuracy is too dependent on the number of camera.This paper presents apseudo-random color encoded projector calibration method base on Zhang zheng you.Through the stochastic characteristics of some code,calculating thecoordinates of the feature point in the projection plane.It can make the windowcharacteristic better,and improve the accuracy of measurement.3. Building the camera and projector calibration system simulation modelwith the3dsmax platform.Making the simulation experiments and comparison forthree cameras Calibration method and two projector calibration method.Gettingthe highest accuracy calibration method by simalation experimental results.At thesame time,using the real image to make the calibration experiment byMtalab.Through evaluating the calibration results.the camera self-calibrationmethod and projector pseudo-random color encoded method based on ZhangZhengyou’s are gigher precision.It suit for the laboratory’s three-dimensionalstructure of optical measurement system.Making good bedding for the followingwork such as3D measurement and3D reconstruction.
