Polyethylene becomes a kind of widely used engineering dielectric material byits excellent dielectric properties, good meachinical properties and processingproperties. But under the effect of strong electric fields, the accumulation of spacecharge makes the internal electric field distortion, and affect the performance ofmaterial. So it’s necessary to change their properties, the appear of nano-compositeplays an important role in transform of the polythene. Nano-composites can improveaging properties, thermomechanical properties, dielectric strength and reduce spacecharge effects. Therefore, the study of nano-composite PE plays a vital role ininsulation materials.First, for the preparation of the related materials of the nano-compositepolythene, we select four kinds of materials, SiO2, SiO2(coupling agent),4A(Zeolite)and NAY(Zeolite), Then using AFM and breakdown strength researchs thedispersion of nano-composite PE from macroscopic and microscopic. By comparisonwith two kinds of methods, nano-composite samples are homogeneously mixed,sample morphology is uniform, and nanoscale is also within the scope of the study.This dissertation studies on nano-composite polyethylene space charge behaviorby conduction current and PEA, using conductance of current reasearchs inflectionpoint threshold and mobility of ionic impurity, using the principle of PEA measuresdistribution of space charge in different field strength and short circuit. Through theanalysis of test results, we find that doping quantity and field intensity size influenceinjection rate and injection depth of space charge.This dissertation studies the trap of PE by the method of TSC and Space charge.TSC provides important ways to characterize trap level in polymer dielectricmaterials. And it also has the important scientific significance and application valueto reveal the relationship between microstructure, mesoscopic structure and macroscopical electrical property. At the same time, this article describes spacecharge characteristics and I-V characteristics of PE to study the stored procedure ofspace charge in nano polyethylene. Then we can confirm the reason of space chargeemergence, which has important theoretical significance to research TSC ofnano-composite PE.
