| In the Steering-by-Wire (SBW) system, the mechanical linkages between the steering wheel and the front wheels are moved. The steering system performances impact the steering stability and the driving safety. In the1850s, people began to study the SBW in the vehicle. In recent years, OEMs, auto parts enterprises and scientific research pay more attention about the SBW system control strategies. In the near future, the SBW system could enter the era of commercialization, applied to a variety of industries, which launched a further study of the steering-by-wire system, the specific content of it is:(1) Studying the SBW control method. The control method of the SBW system is divided into two modules, including the steering wheel block and the steering block.(2) Design a SBW system controller system. Firstly, according to the system request, finish designing hardware system framework and a reasonable circuit.(3) Design SBW system controller software. In this paper, software design includes a few modules, each module is independent of each other, easy to modify and debug.(4) Finally, based on the SBW system requests, finish the selection and matching of the road feel motor and steering wheel motor. The two motors installed in the real vehicle. Through actual vehicle tests showed that the response is rapid and the system response the vehicle quickly, and at the same time, verify this control method and design of the controller feasiblly.Because the linkage is moved, the road feel is generated by the motor. A stable and reliable controller is the basis of the system running security, meanwhile, Rapid feedback of the vehicle state and road conditions to the driver, let the driver make a safe and reliable operation. Design and implementation of the controller as well as road feel and steering the implementation of the control strategy is the key technology of the Steering-by-wire system. |
