The wind turbine is a complicated uncertain system of multivariable and nonlinear, so the building of the model of wind power generation system is of great importance. The subject of this thesis is the direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind generator (D-PMSG), permanent magnet synchronous generator, which is one of main kinds of generator in variable-speed constant-frequency wind power generators. D-PMSG have attracted much more interest because of its high energy conversion efficiency, high reliability and excellent control performance etc.In this paper, the basic principles of the direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind generator (D-PMSG) were analyzed. Firstly, A mathematical model of direct drive permanent magnet wind power generator was built, and the state space equation. Rotor flux vector control method is employed, realized the decoupling control of the motor. The models have been realized with the engineering software LabVIEW, which include D-PMSG model, drive train model, and generator’s controller model.Secondly, the topology of the converter circuits and work principle of space vector pulse width modulation were studied. The mathematical models of grid-side converter and space vector pulse width modulation were built and the voltage of the directional control method was chosen. The models have been realized with the engineering software LabVIEW, which include grid-side converter model and its controller model and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation model. And the parameters of PI-controller are calculated.In the end, the simulating results verifies the rationality of the model, the validity and feasibility of the control strategies. The follow-up work is proposed and prospected.
