Since the combustion motor come out for more than one hundred years, its performances have achieved very remarkable promotion, including dynamic performance, economic performance and emission performance, which are further to be perfect. Therefore, the combustion motor is applied more and more widely. And with the improvement of living standards, people are increasingly looking to their own living environment quality issues, this makes people pay attention to the noise produced by combustion motor. According to the current development of internal combustion engine, it is not difficult to predict that the noise will become an important indicator of combustion motor products. Vibration is the fundamental source of the combustion motor, and so it is of great significance and engineering practical value to the analysis and research on the combustion motor.Under the premise of having researched the related literature at home and abroad, in this paper, taking the16V240diesel engine for example, the finite element simulation technology is applied to calculate the machine structure of combustion motor, providing the basis for the noise prediction of combustion motor.Firstly, the3D solid modeling software is used to establish3D entity model of diesel engine, in the process of establishing model, the model is simplified in order to provide convenient conditions for the division of finite element model.Secondly, use HYPERMESH create the finite element mesh of16v240diesel engine.And then do the modal analysis of16v240diesel engine and calculate the structural vibration of it with ANSYS according to the corresponding load and boundary conditions.At last, use the finite element and boundary element method to calculate the surface radiated noise and introduce double-glazed structure soundproof windows as a sound insulation device and calculate the amount of noise to assess the noise reduction results.
