| In the past few decades, China’s economy has experienced a high-speeddevelopment stage. As a powerful engine of the economy, investment in the fixedassets has an important strategic position in China’s development. Constructionmachinery is the supporting industry of investment in the capital construction, and isbecoming the most rapidly developing industries in China. Especially since theoutbreak of2008financial crisis, as a turning point, the government implements aseries of policies to expand investment and then stimulate domestic demand. ChinaConstruction Machinery industry has experienced great-leap-forward development,from copy to modeled, and then absorption. Now our country is the major exportcountry of construction machinery product, the scale of industry increasing day byday.Advanced design idea is the key for enterprise’s unique gene formation andproduct development. Facing the fierce competition in the international market andproduct homogeneity, product differentiation has become an effective means toenhance the competitiveness of company brand. As a major means to enhance theadded value of product, Industrial Design has become an important part of enterprisebrand strategy. Product design based on differentiation and innovative brand effect isinevitable trend of the current development of the engineering machinery industry.This paper adopts the design strategy of differentiation. Explore the methodsapplied in engineering machinery enterprise and process. The paper idea focus on theteam design methods and how to guide the evaluation and selection of productconcept to design goals, then make the design positioning according to customerneeds and enterprise development program. In general, this paper attempts to discussthe interaction of concept divergence and concept selection from the macroscopicangle.This paper is based on the appearance modeling design project of SANYSTC-750S crane, which is designed by the School of Design, Hunan University.According to project task requirement of first party and our research, use thedeductive and inductive method to analysis the shape features, then design theappearance model of crane, at last the paper summarizes the whole design process. |
