| Friction plays both the positive role and the negative role in our daily activities. We can’t walk without it, however it also brings problems such as the wear. People have spent a lot on the study of it in order to make full use of it. With the development of the Bionics, many researchers have tried to combined bionics and wear, and as a result they found the bionic non-smooth surface which is show in some studies that it can reduce the friction and wear.People pay more attention to the study of friction than the study of wear in recent research on bionic non-smooth surface. Meanwhile the studies on wearing quality of bionic non-smooth surface focu on the theory, simulation and testing based on standard testing maching, and there’re few relevant studies based on the actual working conditions. The wear changes with the life cycle of friction, and there’re some problems in recent study such as the shortage of test period and the data. The investigation on the function of the wear resistant of bionic non-smooth surface is limited to the conceptual aspects, such as "reserve crumbs", the former researchers just propose the concept rather than digging the internal function and the related effects.The paper includes work as follows:The design of wear tester for study on wearing quality of bionic non-smooth surface under reciprocating motion, carry out the wear test of non-smooth surface and the statistics from the test data, the exploration of function of bionic non-smooth surface in reducing wear and so on. First, this paper establishes a functional structure of wear test based on principle of innovation design, and forms a new design including conceptual design, structural design, selection of guide rail and so on.Secondly, this paper develops pilot programs and processes related test specimen, carries out the wear test of bionic non-smooth surface and the statistics from the test data after a good preparation.At last, discouse the function of the bionic non-smooth surface in reducing the wear in the aspect of store of wear debris and lubricating oil, hydrodynamic lubrication, Life cycle and so on.This paper provides adequate and reliable test data based on the the actual working conditions. And the study on the internal function has the reference value for future work. |
