ASR system of electric vehicle can control the driving torque of the driving wheels, thenprevent excessive slip of the driving wheels, improve the power and the lateral stability ofelectric vehicle, it is one of the key research on active safety of electric vehicle. Therefore, thestudy of ASR for electric vehicles which can improve the safety of the electric vehicle haspractical significance. This paper studies modeling, control and analysis of ASR for electricvehicle, mainly in the following aspects:Firstly, the paper introduces the basic principle, the basic composition and arrangementof electric vehicle ASR system in detail, analyzes the control principle of different stages, andintroduces the control approach which is suitable for electric vehicle ASR.Secondly, establish the simple single wheel model, then build four wheels vehiclemodel, part of the motor variables on EV is calculated, established the mathematical modelof five degree of freedom of the body, including: longitudinal motion, lateral motion and yawmotion of body, and the two driving wheels’ rotary motion; Considering the nonlinear Dugofftire model which is suitable for vehicle longitudinal and side slip; Contrast different functionsof the motor used in electric vehicles, choose the suitable permanent magnet brushless DCmotor, and establish the simple mathematical model. Design the PID controller andtwo-dimensional fuzzy controller which are conform to the content of this thesis, and buildthe simulation model of the various modules and sub modules in Matlab/simulink software.Using Matlab/simulink software to connected the body model, tire model, motor modeland PID controller and fuzzy controller model, then to package. Build the whole vehiclesimulation model of electric vehicle ASR system for simulation study on electric vehicleASR system in high, low attachment coefficient road, and the effect of ASR control system isobvious in low attachment coefficient road, and the effect of the fuzzy control Is betterthen PID control.
