Study On Urban Rail Transit Train Operation Adjustment Method

This paper studies on the problem of train operation adjustment, under the background that urban rail transit develops rapidly and train operation gets more complex. The paper’s objective is to maximize the safety of passengers and to transport them as quickly as possible when the operation order is broken by disturbance factors. In another word, the objective is to provide transport capacity which matches transport need. Firstly, the paper summarizes the common disturbance factors, and analyzes how they disturb train operation order. On the basis of classification operation adjustment scenes, the paper explores adjustment strategies that fix to different scenes and makes contingency plans. The adjustment goal is not simply to restore trains to run according to plan, but to make transport capacity match demand, so as to achieve good results when demand or capacity changes significantly. According to similarities and differences of the scenes and their strategies, the paper establishes three types of adjustment models, the general adjustment model, the adding spare train adjustment model and changing routing adjustment model, to apply to all kinds of operation disturbance scenes and to solve adjustment programs. The models can be solved by Lingo easily after transformation. Finally, the paper applies the data of Beijing railway line8to the three models and algorithms, and then proves this train operation adjustment method is feasible.
