Natural gas CCHP (Combined Cold Heat and Power, CCHP) is an energy service system which connected to the large power grid and natural gas pipeline network, and provided power, cold and heat to the users within a certain area. The power installed capacity of100MW of natural gas CCHP operating as "CCHP and Peaking Power Plant", smaller capacity natural gas CCHP can perennial stability operation. Cold, heat and power loads’ cascade utilization is one of the advantages of natural gas CCHP, however, the demand of cold, heat and power load of userside are uncertain, which makes natural gas CCHP are operating on the state variable conditions, In poor operating conditions and load conditions, natural gas CCHP not only can not saving energy, but also can use more energy, which will not play high efficiency characteristics of natural gas CCHP. Therefore, research generation optimization and optimization of cooling and heating of natural gas CCHP is particularly important.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the necessity of operation mechanism optimization of natural gas CCHP. The thesis describes the development status of natural gas generation, introduces significance of developing natural gas CCHP and its operation mechanism optimization through economies of scope.Secondly, the thesis elaborates the production and optimization process of power, cold and heat of natural gas CCHP. The thesis analyzes power subsystem, heating subsystem, cooling subsystem and control optimization subsystem of the natural gas CCHP, introduces production crafts of Guangzhou University City Regional Energy Station.Then, the thesis analyzes the influence of natural gas CCHP access the power system. The thesis studies the two ways under connected to grid, and energy-efficient scheduling of generation when operating as "CCHP and Peaking Power Plant".And then, the thesis builds a natural gas CCHP operation mechanism optimization model. The thesis analyzes the relationship between supply and demand balance under cold/heat load following operation and power load following operation. When buliding the operation mechanism optimization model, puts the starting and outage and pollution emissions costs and constraints to the model, and makes a model whose objective function minimize the total economic costs and environmental costs, and whose constraints are power demand, cold demand, heat demand, equipment operation load, strat and outage, and emission levels. Finally, the thesis chooses an example of natural gas CCHP to demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of the model. The thesis uses MATLAB software programming based on natural selection PSO algorithm functions, in a typical summer day, a typical winter day, a typical transitional day and year-round operation optimization scenarios, solving operation mechanism optimization model of the natural gas CCHP, and comparing to the traditional operation mechanism optimization model, to reflect the superiority of the model proposed in the thesis.
