Electric generator blade alignment system is part of On-line blade monitoring systems in Siemens Energy Sector. As thermal power systems always stay in high temperature and pressure condition and not easy to cool down, it is valuable to provide a time-efficient approach for non-destructive examinations (NDE). With the cameras put in generator, thermal image and monochrome image of generator blade can be provided. But as the high temperature within the generator causes severe blurring effect on those acquired image, general camera calibration algorithm cannot be used directly in this certain case. So blade alignment system proposes a solution of interactive method to facilitate efficient2D-3D registration and provide the thermal model of generator blade to give more information of the blade damage.Begin with requirement analysis of On-line blade monitoring systems; this thesis proposes solutions for uses zero, one or two point correspondences for interactive2D-3D registration base on camera calibration theory. According to system analysis, this thesis breaks blade alignment system into4main modules:3D point correspondence pick-up module,2D point correspondence pick-up module, camera calibration module and result view module.3D and2D point correspondence pick-up module base on OSG, and responsible for load3D blade model and2D image, and they will provide point correspondence with human interactive. Camera calibration module encapsulates point correspondences algorithm and provide a GUI for interactive fine tuning to generate thermal blade model. Result view module will load and show the thermal blade model generated. GUI of this system is a four viewports framework based on QT; it is compact and can meet the demand for cross-platform.Base on requirement analysis and design of system, the author has developed system independently. Blade alignment system provide a simple solution of interactive2D-3D registration, highly reduce the time cost and operation complexity of thermal model generation process, and also improve engineer work efficiency.
