With the development of railway industry, the train speed became faster and faster, especially, as the concept of’More high-speed trains’ has been proposed, it is possible that the train travel speed reach more than600km/h. However, with the development of railway speed, the noise problem has become even more prominent and serious impact on residents living and works along the railway. Therefore, in order to provide a basis for reducing the radiation sound along the railway, in this paper, the methods of ’WSM for reconstruction of high-speed train Sound Field’ was proposed to reconstruct acoustic fields by studying the acoustic characteristics.Starting from the sound source configuration of high-speed trains, this article introduced dipole sound sources. At this point, the equations is nonlinear, therefore, the regularization which solved the monopole problem is no longer applicable. For solving the sound parameter of acoustic dipole, the least square methods and genetic algorithm were used to solve the sound power and angle of direction. The main contents of this paper are listed as follows:The first section introduced the WSM and software programming, which included the select principle of train sound sources, WSM, the method of solving equations, etc., and in combination with matlab, write the programs of WSM.Secondly, experimental verification was established. This experiment established on open ground and semi-anechoic room, this paper studied the radiation sound fields of simple source by WSM, the reconstruction is reasonable. Finally, the high-speed train acoustic-field was reconstructed. The type of source is dipole. The acoustic-field was reconstructed for different trains and different speeds. According to the result of reconstruction, the attenuation characteristics and directivity of sound in high-train acoustic field were obtained.
