As a key equipment of power system, the reliability of Gas InsulatedSwitchgear is an important factor affecting the safe operation of the power grid.so its long-term reliability is directly related to the safe operation of power grid.If we detected the latent fault in the GIS in time, we can investigate security risksas early as possible and maintain the safe operation of power grid. The work ofthis paper is a GIS partial discharge fault in laboratory simulation model, andestablish a capable of detecting the GIS partial discharge signals and thecollection and analysis decomposition of SF6gas platform. On the basis of theresearch platform, the design of four types of partial discharge defect model,under the analysis of partial discharge of SF6gas decomposition mechanism, theuse of GIS simulation device for discharge test, study of SF6gas in different faultconditions of SF6gas decomposition products, statistical breakdown productsunder different discharge time, discharge development trend.Partial discharge experiment latent problems of SF6decomposition product mainly SOF2;SOF2four latent defect formation rate:along the surface offlat parts (insulator) discharge> along the surface discharge (insert root)> floating potential> insulator surface free particle suspension potential discharge discharge;Adsorbent for SF6decomposition absorption, when there isa partial discharge conditions,SF6decomposition and absorption in dynamic equilibrium;SO2in large discharge energy environment only.
