In order to facilitate the manufacturing, heat treatment, maintenance, transportation, and integrated to reduce the economic cost of the machines, various forms of connection are adopted into project. Threaded connection is widely applied as a method of connection method. Due to the variability of load in the actual work, there is some relative motion happened in the screws, which cause the screw loosening and connection failure. Technology staffs take many measures to solve it, such as frictional locking, mechanical locking, permanent locking and special thread locking. All these measures cannot be able to meet all the requirements at the same time, which are compact structure, firmly locking, dynamic balancing and removable. In some special occasions, there are some secure risks, negative phenomenon and serious consequences take place in applications. All of these should get enough attention of technology staffs.Scholars all round the world make in-depth and widely research in the mechanism of screw loosening and get a lot of good results and design some new locking measures. Scholars research on thread loosening by these methods, such as, wave energy dissipation, kinetics, analytical method, FEM method, experimental to establish the theory of thread loosening when the threaded connection was endure linear or nonlinear load. But there are not having enough efficient anti-loosening method to meet project needs.At present, the majority technology do not have those advantage in the same time, such as secure self-locking, compact structure, fine dynamic balancing, removable. A new anti-loosening method is designed which includes nut with ratchet, layer with ratchet, bolt, stud, screw. We combine the ratchet drive and bevel gear and make contact face between nut and layer become ratchet mesh. The ratchet’s forward angle is small so the two components can connect each other relatively and the reverse angle is lager so they could not move. In order to meet the needs of removable, we design wings around the layer and make these are fixed in the component. When there is having the needs of dismountable, we tilt the wings and rotate them.The friction theory, numerical simulation, experiment are totally are applied into this article to research the key parts of nut and layer. Ratchet wing’s mechanical model is established according to use the limit load of threaded connection to confirm the maximum torque and pressure stress. In order to confirm the ratchet’s number, shape, size will influence the joint strength or not, numerical computation method and optimization techniques are applied. Finally we use ANSYS to analysis the static and vibration response so we can verification the reliability of equipment.The research result could make the most threaded connection secure anti-loosening at any place and have the advantages of compacted and removable. The equipment can be widely used into these place which needs secure anti-loosening, such as, train, automobile, plane.
